The CSV40NTS is the result of more than 40 years of experience gained by ICA S.p.A. in designing and manufacturing vertical f/f/s packaging machines for the production of side-gusseted pillow-shape and flat bottom bags. In order to meet the needs of a market in constant evolution, the line expands by adopting the system for sealing the 4 bag edges, available since 1996 on the horizontal forming ICA AROMAPACK® lines, for making flat bottom and gable top or paket-shape bags.
CSV40NTS SERVO SYSTEM is a patented system, which enables to offset the longitudinal seam near the edge, sealing either inside with outside or inside with inside, without modifying or fitting any part and, in particular, without performing the trimming operation, thus avoiding useless film waste and enabling the use of both mono and bi-sealing films.
CSV40NTS SERVO SYSTEM enhances the well-known esthetical and functional features of the bag, by making it even more rigid, also when using thinner films.
The bottom flap is always perfectly folded, flattened and, with bi-sealing films, fixed to the bag bottom, also on an empty bag!
The unique patented movement of the jaws, which guarantees a perfectly square bottom, the built-in check-weigher, homologated and equipped with filler trend feedback, the side outfeed, the high output of more than 140/1’ are all features that make the CSV40 packaging machine an absolutely interesting product for the most varied applications.
CSV40NTS SERVO SYSTEM fits automatically to the new size: you just need to replace the forming tube, push a button and each jaw goes automatically in the correct position, ready to seal the edges!
Needless to say that these lines maintain the possibility of fitting the wide variety of optional devices available on all ICA lines: various kinds of fillers and weighing systems, product settling devices, reel lifting and servo-unwinding systems, gas flushing, printing devices, bundling units, labeling machines, Aroma System valve fitting devices, modem, etc…
Now the CSV40 is totally versatile: the entire range of optional fittings may be installed also when the machine is already operating at the customer’s site!
